Who we are

SheenStore (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates sheenstore.ca. For any privacy question, email hello@sheenstore.ca.

What we collect

• Order information - name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number and what you bought.
• Payment information - handled by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
• Account information - if you create an account, your username, password (encrypted) and order history.
• Technical information - IP address, browser, device and pages visited, via cookies and analytics.
• Messages - anything you send us by email or through a contact form.

Why we collect it

• To take payment, make and deliver your order.
• To send order and shipping confirmations and answer your questions.
• To meet accounting, tax and consumer-protection obligations in Canada.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
• To improve the shop - only where you have consented to analytics or marketing.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with service providers who help us run the shop: payment processors, shipping carriers, email and hosting providers, and analytics or advertising platforms where you have opted in. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies keep your cart and login working. Analytics and advertising cookies only run with your consent, which you can change at any time using the cookie banner on this site.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as Canadian tax and consumer law requires (generally seven years). Enquiry emails are kept only as long as they are useful. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to retain.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Quebec Law 25 and CASL, you may:

• Ask for access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal retention duties.
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time - every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• Make a complaint, first to us and then to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Marketing email

We only send marketing email where you have opted in, and we comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Unsubscribe links are in every message.

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
